At ‘The Federation of Blenheim Road Community and Coed Eva Primary Schools’, we are passionate about the quality of teaching and learning our children experience.

We want to ensure that future primary teachers are effectively prepared to inspire learners to achieve the four purposes of the Curriculum for Wales and are extremely proud to be one of seven Lead Schools in partnership with the University of South Wales (USW) on their Initial Teacher Education programme.

In our role, we take the lead in quality assuring the programme across five additional schools which make up our Community of Learning. We work closely with partner schools to ensure high standards of mentoring and consistency in student provision Students stay within our Community for the three year duration of their course. This means we are able to build strong relationships with them in order to support them effectively throughout their professional journey to achieving Qualified Teacher Status.
