Head Boy and Girl Team

We have appointed Head and Deputy Head Boys and Girls.

The main purposes of the job are:

To support the Headteacher and Leadership Team in promoting and representing the school as well as running the school councils at both sites

Person Specification:

An excellent role model for others

Able to talk to others confidently/give speeches

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knows and follows the school rules

Understands right from wrong

Ability to communicate to large groups confidently

Ability to recognise and respond to others’ achievements

Main responsibilities and tasks:

Represent the school at events

Make speeches promoting the school

Show visitors around

School Council

Each of our school councils are made up of elected representatives from Years 2 to 6. The Head boy and girl team will be responsible for running the school council.

In collaboration with the Super Ambassadors scheme, the School Councils’ focus is to look at pupil and staff wellbeing at the Federation and feedback information to the Headteacher and Governors.

The school councillors role is to take be the voice for the views of their class and provide those views to the School Council. It is also important that School Councillors are confident to feedback to their class.
